Mary Beth is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Associate Portfolio Manager for Osher Van de Voorde Investment Management. Mary Beth received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance with an emphasis in Financial Services from San Diego State University. While working towards her degree at SDSU, she simultaneously completed an additional set of coursework and earned her Personal Financial Planning Certificate, making her eligible to sit for the Certified Financial Planner designation. She began her career in wealth management as Director of Client Services for Financial Strategies, Inc. where she earned her California Life & Health Insurance license. She was subsequently recruited by Smith Barney as a Registered Client Service Associate and earned her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Prior to joining Osher Van de Voorde Investment Management, Mary Beth was a Junior Partner and Financial Advisor with a team at Morgan Stanley that managed $50 million in assets. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Pasadena Jaycees and is the 2010 President-Elect of the San Gabriel Chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
