Supporting Our Community

Whether you just want to dip your toe in or you’re ready for a leadership role, becoming a part of one of our long-standing community service projects or fundraising efforts is a great way to get involved.

We also regularly partner with other vital organizations like Union Station Homeless Services, Los Angeles Food Bank, and Friends in Deed to amplify our efforts, and we typically host fundraising events to help cover the costs of our projects.

Building Connections

While we work hard planning big and small service events throughout the year, we also know how to let loose.

We’re young. We’re fun. And we get things done.

With every project, there is a social element where you will be able to network and meet new people in a relaxed environment. We also host monthly mixers on the third Wednesday of every month at different locations across Pasadena. Our mixers are your chance to mingle, connect with the Pasadena community, and learn more about upcoming events and how to get involved.

We keep the good times rolling with more social events throughout the year. We’ve done everything from Dodgers games to escape rooms, paint nights, and hikes. Keep an eye on our calendar for upcoming events and learn more here!

Leadership Training

Looking to step into a leadership role? The Pasadena Jaycees aren’t just about making an impact–we’re also a launching pad for young leaders.

As a member, you can immediately join one of our committees and take on a leadership role. With just a little bit more experience, you have the opportunity to chair a committee on your own–leading meetings, managing budgets, overseeing teams, and running major community events. It’s real world experience that’s tough to get elsewhere, and it’s invaluable practice for your career or other ventures.

But you won’t be going it alone. Your fellow committee members, the board of directors, and experienced current and former Jaycees members are there to support you every step of the way.

For those who have been involved and want to challenge themselves even more, there’s the chance to join the chapter’s board of directors, gaining even deeper leadership experience and insights, unavailable to most 21-40 year olds.
