Claire Pukszta

Claire is proud to be the 96th President of the Pasadena Jaycees in 2025. She has been a member since 2022 and previously served on the board as the VP of Marketing and Director of Community. When she’s not at Jaycees events, you can find her working professionally at a major streaming service, sewing her latest cosplay, or racing triathlons.
Matt Brunner
Treasurer

Matt Brunner

Matthew works as a Paraplanner in a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. He joined the Jaycees in 2023 and immediately became involved, chairing our Operation Gobbler project that year. Matthew joined the board in 2024, and is now in his second year as Treasurer. In this time, he has started up a new project, Jaycee Field Day, in order to foster fun and collaboration amongst Jaycee members.
Jonathan Eshom
Secretary / Administration Director

Jonathan Eshom

Jonathan holds degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from California State University Channel Islands. He is currently a racecar driver racing Porsches and KTMs in the World Racing League. When he is not racing, Jonathan is attending the Automotive Technology Program at Pasadena City College with the goal of one day opening his own repair shop once his racing career is over. Jonathan joined the Jaycees in 2013 as a student on the Kasukabe Homestay Program and officially joined as a member in 2018.
Shawn Sauerwein
Executive Vice President of Community

Shawn Sauerwein

Ms. Sauerwein is a Program Manager in the Aerospace industry who moved to the West Coast (originally from Oklahoma) in 2018 with her husband. After visiting Pasadena, she fell in love and moved to our beautiful city in 2020. Joining the Jaycees in 2021, she has been a strong presence across our incredible projects and recently chaired the 40th anniversary Kasukabe Exchange Program. She serves our chapter as the Executive Vice President of Community. She brings a passion for leading and augmenting our service projects with the special touches that build our Jaycee community and enable scaled growth for even broader reach in the coming years. Shawn is also a member of the Pasadena Showcase House and Tournament of Roses. You can catch her around the Rose Bowl with her poodle Murphy. She loves to read so ask her about what she’s currently reading at our next event!
Jillian Jacobs-Edmondson
Vice president of Development

Jillian Jacobs-Edmondson

Jillian first got involved with the Pasadena Jaycees through Operation Santa, a project that continues to be her favorite to this day. Since joining the Jaycees, she has served the chapter in a variety of roles, including Community Director and Vice President of Development. Jillian is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for members to connect with each other and the Pasadena community through leadership, service, and fun. Outside of the Jaycees, she works in higher education career services, helping students discover their paths and achieve their goals.
Brady Mahony
Director of Community

Brady Mahony

Brady’s passion for the Jaycees was ignited during his participation in the 2023 Kasukabe Homestay Exchange Program with our sister chapter in Kasukabe, Japan. As Community Director, he is committed to upholding the legacy of the chapter’s longstanding initiatives—such as Operation Gobbler, Operation Santa, and the Five Acres Summer Party—while expanding our community impact through partnerships with organizations like the Bad Weather Shelter and Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts. Professionally, Brady serves as a district manager overseeing catering and event operations at zoos and aquariums across the western United States. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with his cats, Daisy and Bandit, playing video games, and cheering on his hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Derek Stillman
Director of Marketing

Derek Stillman

Derek is the Senior Accounting Manager for a digital marketing company, holds an active CPA license, and has been a proud member of the Pasadena Jaycees since March 2024. He’s participated in various committees and volunteer opportunities with the Jaycees, from the Kasukabe Exchange, to Jaycee Olympics, to Masters of Taste and Op Gobbler! He’s currently looking forward to being the 2025 Chairperson of the Rose Bowl Program Sales committee.

Outside of the Jaycees, Derek is an avid baseball fan. During the offseason, he enjoys hiking, running, and live music and is passionate about helping preserve all of Los Angeles’ architecturally and historically significant buildings and spaces.

Madison Hoiby
Director of Membership

Madison Hoiby

Madison joined the Pasadena Jaycees in 2024 after being involved with the program as a student intern in 2018. She currently serves as the Membership Director and has taken part in the Kasukabe Homestay Program, Operation Santa, Operation Gobbler, and various other projects. Outside of the Jaycees, Madison is working towards a career in school counseling, and enjoys spending her free time making art.
Kevin Sauerwein
Director of Fundraising

Kevin Sauerwein

Kevin is currently serving as the Pasadena Jaycees Director of Fundraising. Originally from Dallas, Texas, he moved to Pasadena in 2020 and quickly sought out the Jaycees as a way to connect with his community and meet new people. During the day, Kevin works in the Space industry as a Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineering Manager. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Virginia Tech, respectively. Outside of work and the Jaycees, you may run into Kevin at the golf course, ski slopes, walking his poodle, or attending an event at the Rose Bowl.
Drew McWilliams

Drew McWilliams

Drew served as the 95th President of the Pasadena Jaycees in 2024. Under his leadership, the Pasadena Jaycees won the national award for Top Chapter in the US. He also was awarded the Charles Kulp, Jr. Memorial Award for Top Chapter President in the country. Outside of his non-profit work, you can find him out at the theatre across the city or at home watching his favorite TV shows. During the day, he works as a Post Coordinator on reality competition shows such as MasterChef, Lego Masters, and Deal or No Deal Island.
